Pastor Matt & Rebekah were married in the fall of 2011 and currently reside in Tyrone, GA with their four children Jonah, Norah, Ava, and Noah. They are graduates of Lee University in Cleveland, TN. Matt is an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Youth Ministry and Rebekah has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Matt is originally from Pennsylvania, where he was called into student ministry at the age of 16. He has served and ministered to students for over 20 years in both part time and full time positions. He is an FCA Area Representative in Fayette County, is a chaplain for Sandy Creek High School's football and basketball teams as well as Flat Rock Middle School football. He has a heart to reach out to students, coaches, teachers and leaders in our local community and is actively involved in all 3 schools on Jenkins Road in Tyrone. To Rebekah, Georgia is home. She has worked with children and youth since the age of 12. She has a passion to see everyone she comes in contact with encounter Jesus Christ in such a way that it not only changes them, but their environment, friends and families. Rebekah also serves as the Worship Pastor at Tyrone Community. It is her desire to see others experience an intimate, life changing encounter in the presence of God through worship.

It is their desire to see the families of Tyrone Community grow in their relationship with Christ and to reach the community of Tyrone for Jesus!

When they’re not at the church or working in the community you can find them enjoying time with their kids, watching sports, eating tacos and talking about Disney!
